PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric razor which prevents the backlash of the outer blade holder in a locked state by improving the lock structure of the outer blade holder and can exhibit good sharpness by always surely bringing the outer blade close to the inner blade. SOLUTION: The lock structure is constituted of: a lock recess 46 formed in the outer blade holder 12; a lock lever 47 locked to and unlocked from the lock recess 46; a release body 48 for operating lock release of the lock lever 47; and a lock spring 49 for wait-energizing the release body 48 and the like. The lock lever 47 is pivoted by a head case 10 reciprocatively rotatably between a lock posture and a lock release posture.
