PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for address allocation processing rather than before, in a network system in which a second terminal device 2 is allowed to allocate addresses to a plurality of first terminal devices 1. SOLUTION: In this network system, the second terminal device 2 transmits a command requesting a response to the first terminal devices 1 and transmits a second command including an address to be given to a first terminal device 1 that has transmitted a received response command. Each of the first terminal devices 1 receives the first command from the second terminal device 2, selects one time slot from a plurality of time slots, transmits a response command to the second terminal device 2 using the selected time slot, and stores an address included in the second command from the second terminal device 2 in a built-in memory.
