PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear magnetic resonance apparatus that gives quality images free from the influence of a subject's movement and without burden on the subject or the apparatus operator. SOLUTION: The nuclear magnetic resonance apparatus has a control unit to control pulse sequence to detect magnetic resonance signals generated from a subject and an arithmetic unit to control signal processing. These control and arithmetic units perform (1) the control of acquirement of a plurality of time-series magnetic resonance signals from a subject, (2) the control of composition of a plurality of image data corresponding to the plurality of magnetic resonance signals, (3) the control of operation of reference image data based on the image data, (4) the control of calculation of similarities between the image data and the reference image data, and (5) the control of extraction and addition of at least partial the image data according to the similarities calculated.
