PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein conventional insect traps cannot be disassembled but occupies space, sometimes gets in the way, during the season when conventional insect traps are not used, since the case body is made of metals, the total insect traps become heavy and cause increase in cost. SOLUTION: The insect trap includes a light trap light source for emitting an insect trapping light and a case body furnished with an opening part, in which an insect trapped by light from the light trap light source drops or advances. The case body is made of a board that is assembled from a folded state or a developed state into a box shape. A recovery vessel for recovering an insect which has dropped or advanced in the case body is arranged, when the body, in a manner to be freely taken in and out and the take-in and removal port of the recovery vessel is opened in an openable manner, in the case body.
