PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the right and the left width as a whole combine harvester. SOLUTION: A threshing apparatus 6 is equipped with a threshing part 39 for carrying out a threshing treatment of reaped grain culms by rotating and driving a threshing cylinder 41, and a sorting recovering part 40 for performing a sorting treatment of treated materials obtained by the threshing treatment and recovering grains so that the sorting recovering part 40 is located under the threshing part 39. The grains separated and recovered with the sorting recovering part 40 are fed through an elevating conveyor 68 erected between the threshing apparatus 6 and a grain storage part 7 to the grain storage part 7 adjacently arranged on the transverse lateral side of the threshing apparatus 6. The sorting recovering part 40 is arranged so that the right and left center C thereof is located just under the center a1 of rotation of the threshing cylinder 41 or near thereto.
