PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auto focusing apparatus. SOLUTION: The auto focusing apparatus includes a sensing part which senses current position of a lens moving in a fixed area along a moving axis, an A/D converter which converts a value of the lens position in the sensing part into a digital signal, a lens position controller part which generates a signal for moving the lens to a target position of the lens, determined by auto focusing algorithm, a driving signal generating part which generates a rectangle wave signal according to the signal in the lens position controller, and an operation part which is connected to the A/D converter and controls converting time point of the A/D converter by the rectangle wave signal of the driving signal generating part.
