A device for controlling a vehicle accelerator is provided to reduce an initial manipulation force for an accelerator pedal by varying the manipulation force applied to an accelerator pedal at a predetermined position and reducing a pedal stroke. A foot-rod(11) includes first rod part(11a) connected to a cable(12), and a second rod part(11b) branched between a rotation shaft(13) and the first rod part and extended toward the rear side of the first rod part beyond the first rod part so as to closely contact the cable when the rotation shaft rotates.
