GAS GENERATOR USING ELECTROLYSIS

A gas generating system is provided to generate hydrogen and oxygen by simplifying structure of the gas generating system and increasing electrolysis efficiency, thereby electrolyzing water in a super-efficient manner, and to separately store the generated hydrogen and oxygen. A gas generating system comprises: a water feeder(10) feeding water; an electrolyzer(20) to which water is fed by the water feeder to electrolyze water; positive electrode plates(30) and negative electrode plates(40) which are installed within the electrolyzer, and to which an electric current is applied to generate oxygen and hydrogen by oxidation and reduction reactions; a positive electrode grounding terminal(50) and a negative electrode grounding terminal(60) installed on an outer part of the electrolyzer; a plurality of diaphragms(70) which are installed within the electrolyzer, surround the circumference of each of the positive electrode plates, and isolate generated oxygen and hydrogen gases from each other to prevent the oxygen gas and hydrogen gas from mixing with each other; a hydrogen gas outlet(81) and an oxygen gas outlet(82) exhausting the generated oxygen and hydrogen gases; and a hydrogen gas storage container(91) and an oxygen gas storage container(92) storing the exhausted hydrogen and oxygen gases respectively.
