PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide generally-improved systems and methods for tracking which also have specific utility in regard to augmented reality system. SOLUTION: The tracking methods establish location and direction of first mobile object in world coordinates. The first mobile object is equipped with first tracking system which is operable so as to produce tracking information in the world coordinates. A second tracking system, installed in the first mobile object for producing tracking information in the world coordinates to the first mobile object, is used to track location of the second mobile object to the first mobile object, where this second mobile object locates on outside the optional structural area of the first mobile object. Additionally, the tracking information of this first mobile object in the world coordinates is combined with the tracking information of the second mobile object in the coordinate system to the first mobile object to produce the location and the direction of the second mobile object in the world coordinates.
