PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication network system, a radio terminal, a radio communication method, and a radio communication program such that while the occupation time of a channel in a space during transmitting operation is shortened, the power consumption is reduced during transmission and reception and a communication state is asynchronously entered. SOLUTION: The power consumption of the radio terminal is reduced by extending a sleep period based upon the power consumption of a battery of the radio terminal and the communication frequency of the radio terminal in a communication time band so as to reduce the power consumption of the radio terminal of the radio communication network system which comprises a plurality of radio terminals performing radio data communication and communicates with all other radio terminals with packetized data directly or through one or more other radio terminals.
