PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support technique capable of calculating quickly a design specification for making adequate a value of a physical property of a design object. SOLUTION: This design support method is provided with a step for acquiring sampling values of a plurality of combinations corresponding respectively to the plurality of suspension design specifications, a step for calculating values of suspension characteristics when adopting the acquired sampling values of the plurality of combinations respectively as the plurality of suspension design specifications, a step for deriving correlation between the plurality of suspension design specifications and the calculated suspension characteristics, using the calculated suspension characteristics, a step for calculating the values of the plurality of suspension design specifications capable of satisfying a constraint condition input by a user, using the derived correlation, and a step for displaying at least one out of the calculated values of the plurality of suspension design specifications, on a display.
