A speed changing shift lever device for the vehicle is provided that the lever ratio is reduced and the power transferred to transmission through gearshift is decreased. A speed changing shift lever device for the vehicle comprises a cable(110) which is connected to the variable speed knob and delivers the operating force of the variable speed knob, a gearshift(130) which is connected in bracket in order to operate the shifting mans of the manual transmission, a guide member(140) fixed to bracket, a cable joint(150) which is connected in the cable and gearshift, and supported by the guide member.
