<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically update the data and the firmware of devices such as a printer set in a cradle. <P>SOLUTION: When the printer 100 is set in the cradle 200, the charging power fed from a charging power feeding section 214 of the cradle 200 is fed to a chargeable battery 118 via the charge control section 117 of the printer 100 and the battery is charged, and a transmission control section 119 is energized, and the command from the cradle 200 can be received.
