<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic atomizer which can extend the life of an ultrasonic vibrator by inhibiting the accelerated deleterious change of the ultrasonic vibrator due to the coagulation or corrosion of calcium etc. <P>SOLUTION: This ultrasonic atomizer has a water-absorbing material 6 interposed between a water storage container 1 and the ultrasonic vibrator 4 and atomizes water to be supplied to the ultrasonic vibrator 4 from the water storage container 1 through the water absorbing material 6. In addition, a sleeve 7 which holds the water absorbing material 6 is arranged between the water storage container 1 and the ultrasonic vibrator 4. This sleeve 7 can shuttle back and forth between a first position in which one end of the water absorbing material 6 comes into contact with or comes close to the ultrasonic vibrator 4 and thereby, the supply of water to the ultrasonic vibrator 4 from the water absorbing material 6 is enabled and a second position in which the one end of the water absorbing material 6 becomes apart from the ultrasonic vibrator 4 and thereby, the water supply to the ultrasonic vibrator 4 from the water absorbing material 6 is disabled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
