PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the noise in imaging data of a high frame rate. SOLUTION: Smoothing processing units 261-1 to 261-4 perform spatial filter processing for reducing random noise of input RAW data, and supply data that have been filtered to a still image area decision processing unit 262. The still image area decision processing unit 262 receives RAW data of four successive frames which are smoothed and reduced in noise, calculates the differences in the pixel value between frames to decide a still image area, and supplies the decision result to an addition processing unit 263. The addition processing unit 263 inputs unsmoothed RAW data of four successive frames of the frame rate of imaging by the imaging element 22 and performs addition processing, on at least part of the four input RAW data at need, based on the decision result of the static image area of the static image area decision processing unit 262 to realize adaptive noise reduction.
