<p><PICT:1027545/C1/1> A deodourizer for recovered dry-cleaning solvent comprising an adsorption column 12, an inlet 11, an outlet 17 and adsorption material 13, has outlet 17 arranged to maintain the level 14a of solvent above the adsorption material 13 to prevent moisture contacting the material. The outlet 17 is fed from the bottom of column 12 by an outlet pipe 16 and from the top of the column by an emergency overflow 18. The adsorption material 13 may be activated alumina, silica gel or fuller's earth and the method of operation in a dry-cleaning system is as described in Specification 1,027,546.</p> |
