The device comprises a feeding equipment (1) for staple fiber or spunbonded fabric. The feeding equipment is deniable on a conveyor belt or supplyable with the help of a conveyor organ to next treatment. Water, steam or air needling device (2) are provided for preconsolidation of the fleece. A dispensing device (3) is also provided for the absorbent product e.g. paper or tissue, which is deniable on a conveyor belt or another conveyor belt or a compressing belt (4). A compacting device (5) with a moistening equipment (6) is also provided.
