<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club analysis method being a quite different type from the conventional one and having a high utility value. <P>SOLUTION: A torque applied from a golfer to a golf club in a swing is analyzed in time series. A DLT (Direct Linear Transformation) method is suitable for a measurement method. Preferably, a link model is used for the analysis. Preferably, three-dimensional coordinates of a mark provided at a position corresponding to the link model is measured by the DLT method. A preferable analysis method is that the golf club and at least a part of the golfer holding a grip part of the golf club are modeled as the link model where the golfer and the golf club are connected via a joint and the torque applied to the joint in the swing is analyzed in the time series. The joint is positioned near the grip part. This analysis is applicable to a swing diagnosis method, a golf club selection method and a golf club design method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
