ELECTROLYTE MEMBRANE WITH CATALYST LAYER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte membrane with a catalyst layer for manufacturing a fuel cell of higher power by making contact good enough and reducing contact resistance.

SOLUTION: The electrolyte membrane with a catalyst layer comprises catalyst layers arranged on both sides of the electrolyte membrane, wherein (1) a recess is formed in the surface of the electrolyte membrane, (2) part of the catalyst layer in a thickness direction thereof is inserted into the recess, and (3) the proportion of thickness direction of the catalyst layer inserted into the recess is ≤30% of the thickness direction of the whole catalyst layer.
