<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which can suppress the rise of the temperature in an LED chip and a photodetector. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device is provided with an LED chip 1; a mounting substrate 20 wherein the LED chip is mounted onto one surface side thereof and is used concurrently as a heat slinger, a photodetector formation substrate 40 wherein an optical pick-up window 41 is formed opposite to the one surface side of the mounting substrate 20 and a photodetector 4 is formed to photoelectrically convert a part of the light emitted from the LED chip 1; and an intermediate layer substrate 30, which is interposed between the mounting substrate 20 and the photodetector formation substrate 40 and is provided with an open window 31, communicating with the optical pick-up window 41. Electrodes 27a, 27a for supplying electric power to the LED chip 1 and electrodes 27b, 27b for outputting signals to the photodetector 4 are provided on the one surface of the mounting substrate 20 and are exposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
