<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously and effectively form windings of coils with the alpha winding method. <P>SOLUTION: Winding of a coil C is formed by reversely winding the lead wire W in the winding starting side and winding terminating side from the intermediate part. The wound coil C is retracted from a working region of the winding process without cutting from the lead wire W to continuously guide the lead wire W for the next winding work.
