<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a sound absorption structure having holes in the outside surface layer which allows simplification of the molding mold, controls the amount of materials used and reduces costs by reducing the time for one molding cycle. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises supplying a resin material into a cavity formed by clamping a fixed and a movable mold together so as to obtain an intermediate molding A having a surface layer 12 having columnar parts 16 protruding outward and a void layer 11 having a large number of voids and forming hole parts 15 communicating with the voids by making a load to act, from the side of the columnar parts, on the columnar parts 16 of the intermediate molding A so as to break the columnar parts 16 from their bases and remove them from the intermediate molding A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
