PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of restraining the occurrence of a brazing failure and a leakage failure of a flat tube. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger has a pair of mutually opposed plates 11 and 12 and a pair of curved parts 13 and 14 curving so as to project to the outside, and has a core 50 for laminating a plurality of the flat tubes 10 manufactured by using a metallic plate 20 and a corrugated fin 30 thermally connected to the flat tubes 10 in the thickness direction of the flat tubes 10, and a pair of headers 51 and 52 connected to both ends of the flat tubes 10, respectively. The flat tubes 10 have an overlapping area 15 brazed by overlapping mutual edges 10a and 10b of the metallic plate 20 by the curved part 13. The overlapping area 15 is arranged so as to enhance a close contact degree between the inner peripheral side edge 10a and the outer peripheral side edge 10b when a compressive load from the outside in the thickness direction is applied to the flat tube 10.
