PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyisocyanate composition having sufficient permeating property to a wooden base material, particularly, to a base material containing a large amount of a wax component or fat and oil, and showing excellent curing property, and to provide a coating composition and an adhesive composition using the above composition. SOLUTION: The organic polyisocyanate composition comprises: a prepolymer (A) with an isocyanate end group obtained by reacting an organic polyisocyanate (a1) 50 to 90 mass% and a hydrophilic polyol (a2) 5 to 30 mass%; and a diluent (B) 5 to 25 mass% having a straight-chain alkyl group and/or a straight-chain alkylene group having a carbon number of 6 to 24 and obtained from a monocarboxylic acid or a polybasic acid with an alcohol.
