PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter control unit for preventing load selection shut-off from being erroneously detected during a sequence having no answer signal from a three-phase load contactor by embedding an input command to the three-phase load contactor into the control sequence. SOLUTION: This inverter control unit includes a stationary inverter 1, the three-phase load contactor 4 which is placed on a contact line 3 with loads 6A to 6C which are connected to the output of the stationary inverter, an inverter output voltage detector 5 which is placed between the stationary inverter and the three-phase load contactor, and an inverter control unit 2 which controls the stationary inverter and the three-phase load contactor. The inverter control unit 2 stops the stationary inverter 1 for detecting output excessive current, opens the three-phase load contactor 4, and determines success of the load selection shut-off when the detected voltage of the inverter output voltage detector 5 is a normal value and a command is input into the three-phase load contactor 4.
