PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to provide a power battery holder meeting waterproof specifications without upsizing, though reduction in size and weight thereof is required as a camera itself is reduced in size and weight. SOLUTION: The power battery holder 10 has a battery holding body 12 and a battery chamber 12b. The battery chamber 12b has an insertion opening 12b1 inserted by a battery 11 on a camera rearward side, and is formed in the battery holding body 12 so that a tip edge 11a of the battery inserted from the insertion opening into the interior is separated downward from a camera bottom face by inserting the battery from the insertion opening forward of the camera. Thus, a bottom wall 12d of the battery holding body is gradually formed thick from the back of the battery chamber 12b toward the insertion opening 12b1, and the thickness enabling to arrange a waterproof seal 13 can be secured on the circumference of the insertion opening.
