PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher having a high washing performance of various kinds of eating utensils placed in an eating utensil basket such as glasses and cups while preventing increase of cost as much as possible. SOLUTION: The dishwasher 1 is provided with: the eating utensil basket 3 for placing the eating utensils G1, G2, and so on; a washing vessel 4 for storing the eating utensil basket 3; main washing nozzles 5 arranged on the bottom part inside the washing vessel 4 for spraying washing water to the eating utensils G1, G2, and so on; and auxiliary washing nozzles 9 arranged in positions different from the main washing nozzles 5 for spraying washing water to the eating utensils G1, G2, and so on. The auxiliary washing nozzles 9 are mounted to the eating utensil basket 3. The auxiliary washing nozzles are connected to a branched water supply channel that is branched from a water supply channel for supplying washing water to the main washing nozzles. A connecting part of the auxiliary washing nozzles connected with the branched water supply channel is tapered toward the branched water supply channel so that its caliber is larger than that of the branched water supply channel.
