PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desktop sheet storage container which enables the easy takeoff of sheets therefrom even when the container is placed at a low position such as a wash stand, prevents its topping, and to facilitates a change of an installation place. SOLUTION: The desktop container for storing sheet-like articles therein comprises: a front wall 2 having an opening 4 for taking out sheets (sheet-like articles) 100a therein and forming an inclined surface with its upper end 2a being backward of its lower end 2b; a back wall 6 facing the front wall and forming an inclined surface with its upper end being backward of its lower end; and a bottom wall 8 brought into contact with the lower ends of the front wall and the back wall.
