PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of highly efficiently heating an inner lid with a low-watt heating means and preventing a contact part between the inner lid and a lid, and a packing around the outer circumference of the inner lid from getting a high temperature. SOLUTION: This rice cooker is provided with a body 11 equipped with a pot heating means 32 for heating a pot 16, the lid 12 covering the upper face of the body 11, the inner lid 17 provided at the base of the lid 12 and covering an opening part of the pot 16, and an inner lid heating means 18 for heating the inner lid 17, wherein the inner lid heating means 18 is formed into a ring shape, and at least a pot facing surface of the inner lid 17 facing the ringed inner lid heating means 18 is defined as a far-infrared radiation face 17a. The ringed inner lid heating means 18 can efficiently heat at least the far-infrared radiation face 17a alone of the pot facing surface of the inner lid 17 to radiate the far-infrared rays, the inner lid 17 is heated to a high temperature by the low-watt inner lid heating means 18 and at the same time the contact part between the inner lid 17 and the lid 12 and the packing around the outer circumference of the inner lid are prevented from getting the high temperature.
