PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly button with an illumination having a size smaller than conventional ones. SOLUTION: This button with the illumination includes: two light-emitting diodes LD1 and LD2; a secondary battery 2 for supplying a power to the light-emitting diodes LD1 and LD2; a solar battery 3 for supplying a charging current to the secondary battery 2; a control circuit 4 for controlling the power supply from the secondary battery 2 to the light-emitting diodes LD1 and LD2; and a button body 10 consisting of a three-dimensional circuit board mounted with the light-emitting diodes LD1 and LD2, the secondary battery 2, a solar battery 3, and the control circuit 4. The button body 10 formed of the three-dimensional circuit board is mounted with the light-emitting diodes LD1 and LD2, the secondary battery 2, the solar battery 3 and the control board 4 so as to, different from conventional ones, eliminate any necessity of connecting a separate-body battery case to the button body with an electric wire and provide the user-friendly button with the illumination having the size smaller than the conventional ones.
