PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushion of a seat for an automobile formed of polyurethane foam capable of arbitrarily arranging a part allowing a seated occupant to have the soft feeling when being used for a seating part of a seat cushion or a backrest of a seatback, and less in any permanent set and free from any problem of permeability. SOLUTION: In a polyurethane foam used for a cushion of a seat for an automobile which is foam-molded by a forming mold, projections 40 with their entire surface being covered with a skin layer are formed on the surface of the polyurethane foam. The projections are formed in an inner center part demarcated from right and left side parts along the longitudinal direction of the automobile when the polyurethane foam is used as the cushion of the seat for the automobile, and demarcated into a part having a relatively large number of projections for the same area and a part having a relatively small number of projections for the same area.
