A connection portion (20) has a circular toothed section that is fitted into the circular opening. A tip retaining device (40) moves on one section of the base between a release position, in which a tip is insertable and removable in the hexagonal opening, and a retaining position. The tip is held in the hexagonal opening, in the retaining position. A pressing element movably arranged in the base, presses the tip in the hexagonal opening in the release position of the retaining device. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Clamping device for use with a pneumatic or electrical turning tool. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The transfer of large amount of torque to the base and to the tip from the connection portion is enabled in an efficient manner.
