<p>The present invention provides a hydroelectric device having a closed conduit portion 16 extending along an elevational drop, with a turbine 18 positioned at a lower elevation and in fluid communication with the closed conduit portion 16. The closed conduit portion 16 contains a volume of fluid forming a pressure head 22 therein, the fluid impacting the turbine 18 in such a manner as to operate the turbine 18 and produce electricity therefrom.</p> |
