A mobile communication terminal and method for transmitting private information and a recording medium thereof are provided to obtain the private information from a separate personal information receiving device by transmitting the private information stored in the mobile terminal to the receiving device. A personal information storage unit(120) stores personal information, and a controller(130) reads out personal information corresponding to a personal information transmission request message received through a communication network. A transmission message generating unit(140) produces a transmission message corresponding to the read personal information, and a message tranfer part transmits the transmission message with a personal information receiving device. The controller deletes the stored personal information in case transmission of the message is successful. The transmission message is at least one of a short message, a multimedia message and an e-mail, and the personal information is determined by identifiers added to information stored in a storage unit.
