<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can effectively utilize a space while facilitating to achieve positioning accuracy between an LED head and a photoreceptor correctly. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus (printer 1) comprises a process unit (cartridge main body 19) having a photoreceptor (photosensitive drum 24) with which electrostatic latent image is formed, an LED head 29 which exposes the photoreceptor, and a developer cartridge (toner cartridge 20) which is detachably attached to the process unit and supplies a developing agent to the process unit. The LED head 29 is arranged between the photoreceptor and the developer cartridge and is placed movably between an exposure position at which the photoreceptor can be exposed and a retracted position at which the head is retracted from the photoreceptor. The developer cartridge has a pressing part (pressing wall 206a) which can press the LED head 29 to the exposure position in such a state that the developer cartridge is attached to the process unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
