<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device having a pedometer function capable of obtaining a sense of unity between a user and a character on a picture and, at the same time, appropriately reflecting the user's behavior upon the character's behavior. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device 1 is provided with: a vibration detecting means 12 for detecting vibrations of a device main body 2; an image display means 15 for displaying an acting character C; a storage means 13 for storing a first parameter P1 of the character C and a temporal gap ΔT per action of the character C corresponding to a value of the first parameter P1; and a control means 16 which displays the acting character C to a picture 3, increases the value of the first parameter P1 of the character C when the number of vibrations of the device main body 2 detected by the vibration detecting means 12 reaches the prescribed number of times Cvib until a prescribed continuation time Tcon passes, and reduces the temporal gap ΔT per action of the character C displayed to the picture 3 on the basis of the temporal gap ΔT per action of the character C stored in the storage means 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
