<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high adhesion between members such as a separator and ensuring of prescribed space shape. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the separator includes a process interposing a spacer 42 for ensuring a fluid passage and a thermoplastic resin 44 for bonding an anode side separator 28a and a cathode side separator 26b between the anode side separator 28a and the cathode side separator 26b; and a process softening the thermoplastic resin 44 and bonding the anode side separator 28a and the cathode side separator 26b. By extracting the spacer 42, a desired fluid passage 46 is formed.
