<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus or the like which is capable of supporting a user in constructing his/her carrier, in consideration of his potential aptitude and continuously for a long time of period. <P>SOLUTION: A carrier support server 10 capable of being connected to individual affiliate terminals 2 of users wanting to construct their carriers and corporation affiliate terminals 3 of recruiters recruiting talent, through a network 4 extracts information for use in matching between a user and a recruiter on the basis of arbitrary form information on reception of prescribed item information inputted by the user in accordance with a prescribed item, the arbitrary form information inputted by the user in an arbitrary form, and recruiting information inputted by the recruiter and collates the received prescribed item information, the extracted information, and the received recruiting information to perform matching processing.
