<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove foreign matter such as dust adhering to the surface of an optical member, while evading the enlargement of an imaging apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: an imaging device 33 for converting the optical image of a subject into an electric signal; an infrared light cut filter 410 arranged on the front surface of the imaging device 33 and also on an photographing optical axis; a piezoelectric element 430 for vibrating the infrared light cut filter 410; and a temperature sensor 112 for detecting temperature inside a camera. Control is performed to allow the infrared light cut filter 410 to vibrate by each step of dividing a frequency band F with the resonance frequency f as a center. When performing the control, at least the frequency band F, the number N of the steps for dividing the frequency band F, or time T per one step is changed based on the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 112. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
