PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochromic mirror capable of sufficiently coloring an electrochromic film without applying a high voltage. SOLUTION: In the electrochromic mirror 10, a carbon film 30 is composed by including an activated carbon. The activated carbon has a large surface area because of being porous. Thus, the activated carbon has many negative ions and accumulation capability of positive charge, and can compensate reducing reaction in the electrochromic film 16. As the result, the electrochromic mirror can sufficiently color the electrochromic film 16 with a switch 42 in an on state to apply a voltage. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
