PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder case which has a stable retention posture and is equipped with a mesh stretching placing body which can guide smooth vertical motion. SOLUTION: The powder case includes: a case body 1 which forms a partitioning concave M on the inside by a peripheral wall; a powder accommodating drum 2 which has an upper part open end 2' and is removably installed in the partitioning concave M of the case body 1; a mesh stretching placing body 3 which is installed in the upper part open end 2' of the powder accommodating drum 2 and guides powder adhesion to a puff f; and a lid body 4 which is put upon the port section of the case body 1 to hermetically seal the case body 1 and forms a storage space for the puff in the upper part of the powder accommodating drum 2. an annular frame body 5 is fixedly held to the upper part open end 2' of the powder accommodating drum 2, and includes the arms 6 which consist of flat curved pieces, are respectively connected to at least two places of the marginal part of the mesh stretching body 3 and suspend support the mesh stretching placing body 3 in such a way as to be reciprocable toward the bottom from the upper part open end of the powder accommodating drum.
