The invention relates to a bit magazine for storing screw bits, comprising a magazine body that is provided with at least two bit places, wherein each bit place is suitable for removably holding an elongate screw bit, which at one end is provided with a screw head and at the other end is provided with a drive piece that can be coupled with a bit holder of a screw tool, wherein the bit holder at one end is provided with a blind bit opening into which the drive piece of a bit fits exactly and which near the bottom of the bit opening is equipped with a holding means for keeping the screw bit in an operational position. In each bit place of the magazine a screw bit is held thus that a bit opening of a bit holder can be slid over the drive piece such that the screw bit can be moved directly from the bit place in the magazine into an operational position in the bit holder, and through the bit holder is removable from, and replaceable into the magazine body (1). |
