<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothing dryer, preventing growth of frost and ice produced at a heat absorber to attain high drying performance, and compact-sized. <P>SOLUTION: This clothing dryer includes a heat pump device 30, a rotating container 5 for receiving an object to be dried, a fan 12 for sending air heated by a heat radiator 23 into the rotating container 5, and heat exchange airflow passages 22, 24 for heat absorber and radiator for circulating the air present in the rotating container 5 to the heat radiator 23 through the heat absorber 21, wherein the heat absorber 21 and the heat radiator 23 in the heat pump device 30 are constructed in the same heat exchange air flow passage, so that the heat can be transferred from the heat radiator 23 side to the heat absorber 21 side through a fin 25, and even at a low outside temperature, frost of the heat absorber 21 is melted with a temperature rise of a refrigerant to attain high drying performance and compactness in size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
