<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve homogenization of illuminance of the whole light-emitting region in a surface light-emitting device using an LED light source. <P>SOLUTION: In the surface light-emitting device 4 equipped with a light source part 13 and a plurality of light guide plates 11 to propagate its incident light into inside and emit it from a light-emitting face 2, at least one end face 21 of the light guide plates 11 is formed to be inclined in obtuse angle against the light-emitting face 2, the light source part 13 is arranged to make the light incident from the rear face 12 opposing to the light-emitting face 2 to make the incident light reflect at the end face 21 and to propagate it into inside the light guide plates 11. Without necessity to install a gap in order to arrange the light source part 13 between the light guide plates 11, the light-emitting face 2 is enabled to be constituted by connecting the plurality of the light guide plates 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
