<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of preventing deterioration or solidification of developer due to heat. <P>SOLUTION: The developing unit (developing device) 7 which supplies toner to a photoreceptor drum 4 for the purpose of transferring an image to paper includes: a magnet roller 74 arranged to face the peripheral surface of the photoreceptor drum 4 and supplying the toner to the photoreceptor drum 4; mixing rollers 72 and 73 stirring the toner and moving the toner to the magnet roller 74; and a substantially box-shaped developing housing 71 housing and holding the magnet roller 74 and the mixing rollers 72 and 73 together with the toner. The developing housing 71 includes a cover member 77 inclined to a horizontal surface and vents 77a and 77b formed at the upper part and the lower part of the inclination of the cover member 77, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
