<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring box inexpensively the installation work of which can be easily carried out, while improving the sound insulation properties in a setting place. <P>SOLUTION: The wiring box 10 includes: a box cover 21 formed of a sound insulation material having no fire resistant property into a bottomed box shape having an opening part 20a on one surface; and a box-shaped box 11 equipped with the circumferential walls 13 which are installed on the rear wall of a light weight partitioning wall and erected on the bottom wall 12 and the circumferential edges of the bottom wall 12 and having a box opening part S surrounded by and formed of the circumferential walls 13.
