PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core assembly which can stably fix magnetic cores of various sizes without applying unnecessary shock and stress to a magnetic core, enables easy attachment and detachment, and can perform effective heat dissipation in characteristics. SOLUTION: The core assembly includes a pedestal 1, a ring-like magnetic core 3 and a fastening tool 5. The pedestal 1 contains a mounting part 11. The mounting part 11 has a recessed shape and at least two slopes 111 and 112. The two slopes 111 and 112 form an angleθ17 between themselves. The ring-like magnetic core 3 has a curved surface 30 at least a part of the periphery thereof. In a condition where the magnetic core is mounted on the mounting part 11, a part of the curved surface 30 is in contact with the two slopes 111 and 112, respectively, and a gap G is formed between the mounting part 11 and the curved surface 30, between two contact points P1 and P2.
