PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp mechanism of magnetic head assembly and an inspection device using the same in which automation of exchange work of a magnetic head can be performed. SOLUTION: In this invention, when an attachment base part of the magnetic head assembly is placed on a head clamp mount from an upper part of the head clamp mount, clamp can be performed by energy of a spring. Thereby, the attachment base mount of the magnetic head assembly may be transported to a position of the head clamp mount by a handling robot or the like, in also positioning of the attachment base part, the attachment hole may be corresponded to a position coordinate of a positioning pin.
