PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design data generating system and a design data generating method capable of quickly generating the design data of an inner surface progressive multifocal lens, and to provide a recording medium and a program. SOLUTION: A CPU 12 of a calculation server 1 includes a reference design data selection means 122 to select the reference design data out of a plurality of reference design data stored in a reference design data storage means 132 of a storage means 13 based on the addition of prescription data; and an arrangement design means 123 to process the obtained reference design data based on the prescription data.
