PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-stage polarizing film inspection device capable of not only preventing damage, sagging and deformation of a polarizing film but also enhancing the commercial value of the polarizing film without leaving a clamped mark on the polarizing film. SOLUTION: The polarizing film inspection device is provided with: a first scanning part having a first transfer stage with a plurality of first suction plates provided at constant spaces to suction-support the polarizing film, and a first optical means arranged in a reciprocating section of the first transfer stage to photograph a part not sucked by the first transfer stage; a lift part having a vertical transfer plate to which the polarizing film having passed the first scanning part is delivered; and a second scanning part having a second transfer stage provided with a plurality of second suction plates to suction-support the part, photographed by the first scanning part, of the polarizing film delivered from the lift part, and a second optical means arranged in a reciprocating section of the second transfer stage to photograph a part not sucked by the second transfer stage.
